Doing Good by Being Good: The Friendbase Team Is Growing!

Friendbase, a social gaming virtual world, is continuing to grow!

Friendbase is an avatar-based social gaming world where teens from across the globe play games, make new friends by chatting in real-time, and take fun quizzes (coming soon…watch for an announcement).

Headquartered in Stockholm, Friendbase has been a nimble global team aiming to expand is some of our most popular markets — such as the United States and Brazil.

Here at Friendbase, we are thrilled to announce that we will be bringing in a new team of four developers and designers. This team will be working for the coming three months, enabling Friendbase to scale up development at a much faster pace than previously planned.

This expansion was made possible through Friendbase’s CTO, Jonas Kac, who started in May and is helping bring on the additional developers and designers.

“After spending a couple of months with Friendbase and working with the team on their strategy, I realise that we have an opportunity to scale quickly with quite small means,” says Jonas. He continues, “My team and I are convinced that with this boost of added resource combined with a marketing spend will rapidly grow Friendbase, both in regards to users as well as revenue.” The team is expected to start work mid-September.
